In Press Repair of Low Areas

Damage: Low areas across sheet from corrosion, bent journals, etc.

In Press Solution: Straighten bent journals in press if that is the problem.  For surface damage, we thermal spray-weld the damaged area, then cap with nickel plating. There are cases in which we can repair corrosion damage (primarily plate and blanket cylinders).  Call us for an evaluation of your particular issue. In-press cylinder repairs are routine for us!
